v8 on ASG220

I need o run version 8.1 to preconigure for a future date.A virtual machine wont work because this particular client is using 7 of 8 ports on an ASG425. I have an old ASG220 with 512 mb of memory and I was wondering if it would run well enough to edit a configuration and then back it up.

You can use the Backup within the VM and reconfigure it.

Yes it can. I've got a 220v1 test unit running 8.103. I wouldn't use it in production, but it's good enough for a pre-config.
