Web Interface Not Accessible

Please forgive me if this has been covered, but I've searched and not been able to find anything (although, given the key words, I'm not overly surprised [;)] )

I am running ASG8 and after a while, the web interface will no longer be accessible.  The time period will vary greatly, but the only option I have found (as I know very little about Linux), is to reboot the OS and then it all works fine again.

It's running as a VM on ESXi 4.1, but I had exactly the same issues when I was running ASG7.5 on a physical box.

Browsing to the Web interface simply returns a timeout error; sometimes it knows its the gateway as the icon changes, or the title sometimes, but the timeout always follows.

This is a really frustrating error and given that I have seen it on two different platforms and two different versions, I can't believe that I'm the only one!

If anyone has seen this, please could you let me know what you did to fix it?

    Hi, tonyhawk, and welcome to the User BB!

    Are you browsing to  an IP address or to an FQDN?  If the latter, did you check to see what IP the FQDN returns when you have the problem?  In any case, I don't remember seeing this problem here in the last few years, so the solution almost-certainly is not in the Astaro configuration.
