AMG 1000 Newbie Questions

Hello all, 

I am new here my name is Bill. The company I work for has a Astaro AMG 1000. 

I am having a devil of a time getting it to work to my expectations. I could use some advise on settings for the anti-spam and anti-virus sections. 

I am getting "Ok" results with what I am doing. I have a couple of outside RBL's set and a couple of phrases set. But for instance I put the word "Casino" in but I still get "Royal Casino" spam? I am also getting TONS of Replica Watch ads.

I am not familiar with the product yet to be able to rattle off all the settings. So maybe if I tell you what I am getting someone can point me in the right direction.

I know we are updated as far as we can go 7.5?? and the patterns are getting updated regularly.

I am getting ******/enlargement, Gambling, watches, handbags, clothing ads.

Please any suggestions?

    Hi bill. Just to be sure, you are running it through the engine and gettin results correct?  Entries in the mail log, mails in the quarantine manager etc?

    Also, just attach a few screens of you configuration options. I'll help you tweak it. Or if you like, send me a PM and I'll give you a call on Monday.
