I recently had Fios installed and have been having some serious speed issues with Xbox Live. It is not a big deal when it comes to playing games, but downloading updates is impossible (larger ones often take ages and eventually fail/time out). This seems to be a common issue with FIOS and XBL, but the only solutions I have found are via an update to the VZ supplied router, which I do not use. Has anyone run into this? or does anyone know what the Actiontec update changes?
Right now I have very little to go on, other than slowness and downloads always failing. I used the same router with my previous ISP and never had any issues. My NAT type shows as OPEN in XBL and all connection tests pass without issue.
