Home Edition Install - Download

Hi All,

Ran Astaro a couple years back but the IP limit made me go elsewhere.

I found out this limit was raised to 50, so now I am back. I signed up for the home edition but the download (latest asg) will not accept the license Astaro emailed to me, I tried the essential edition and that license works, but I would prefer to use the home license.

Is this a different download somewhere?

Would like to get this sorted out.

Hi,

What version are you using?
Astaro changed the licensing in 2010 so you might want to check if your license is the new version and that you are installing the latest version.

I installed the lastest version (latest_asg_v8_software.iso).

I used the license supplied in the email Astaro sent me just yesterday when I signed up. I have no clue what I am doing wrong.

Open the license in notepad and check the date for the subscriptions, and make sure the Astaro also has the correct date. Also check the license to verify if the "Licensemode= ondemand" as shown in the thread I posted a link to.

I went to myastaro and upgraded the license there and it now seems to be working.
