Upgrade - 110

Hi,
how many RAM have a 110?(manufactured 110) i don't have it, but i think buy it.

can i upgrade ram? how much this upgrade?

i would buy to use with free license for a littel VPN.

can i upgrade to version 8?

    Be very careful, because some of the oldest models only came with 256MB installed.....

    There should be a sticker on the bottom with the model, revision number, and serial number.

    To be honest, if I were you, I'd just use / build an old workstation to run the Software version of Astaro.  That box is already 3 years old (if it was mfg. in 2008)... just about any old workstation will do, with enough NICs and RAM (1GB minimum).

    Quite true, but those were built far before year 2008.

    For home use I just build a mini pc.  Used case and power supply I already had.  Parts used were:

    Intel BOXD525MW Intel Atom D525@ 1.8GHz (Dual Core) - $85 (here)
    Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory - $45 (here)
    OCZ Onyx OCZSSD2-1ONX32G 2.5" 32GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $77 (here)
    Intel PWLA8391GTL 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI PRO/1000 GT Low Profile Desktop Adapter 1 x RJ45 - OEM - $28 (here)

    Installed 8.102.   Set up web proxy content filtering in memory as shown here.

    Two gigabit NICs (1 onboard and 1 pci).  Plenty of RAM.  Dual core low power processor.  Runs great.  Power usage according to Kill-A-Watt device is only 33 watts.

    I had an old Antec 300 watt psu and generic case which I used.  Power draw is only 33 watts with SSD.  With a hard drive it should not be more than 45 watts.   Power usage should be handled by just about any quality psu (even 150 watt unit).

    For psu, I only buy Antec or Fortran (FSP group).  I don't know about the psu in the case / psu combo you listed.
