ASG 8.001 on ESXi 4.1 some questions

Dear all, I've installed and configured ASG virtual appliance 8.001 on ESXi 4.1
My VM is "version 7" and VMware Tools in "Unmanaged"

How can I upgrade VMware tools?

    Hi manzamanna,

    This is normal for a VMWare image created using OSP.  Here is an excerpt from a VMWare document relating to this (found here Operating System Specific Packages Home Page).  See the install guide.

    Status of VMware Tools in vSphere Client
    After VMware Tools OSPs are installed on a guest, the VMware vSphere Client reports the status of VMware
    Tools for that guest as unmanaged. This status indicates that OSPs are installed. In this situation, do not attempt
    to install the standard VMware Tools through the VMware vSphere Client.
