ASG 8.001 on ESXi 4.1 some questions

Dear all, I've installed and configured ASG virtual appliance 8.001 on ESXi 4.1
My VM is "version 7" and VMware Tools in "Unmanaged"

How can I upgrade VMware tools?

We will have new/updated VMware images shortly after the GA releases of 8.102 and following ISO images. This will likely be next week, stay tuned!

Up2date take me to 8.101 but still "unmanaged", so will 8.102 upgrade vmware tools?

Doh! I've just downloaded "asg_8.102_esx_v4" (it is available from yesterday)
..but still "unmanaged"..
I tried to upgrade Vmware Tools from shell... it doesn't work: no gcc, no make, no kernel headers, chrooted...
Disaster ..don't worry, it was only a testing VM :-)

it seems ESXi 4.1 isn't supported
