I've been reading some of the discussions here, and while it seems clear that as a software appliance user I will need to "reinstall" to upgrade, it's not clear to me what happens to existing data. I see that I need to backup my configuration and restore that. However, what about smtp quarantine data, etc. What happens to that? Does the install keep the current partitions and just update files, or does it wipe out the entire drive?
