We have an Astaro 220 that's currently on 7.509.
We're planning to switch our main server with a brand new server, I intend to configure the new server with the same ip address etc for that my intention is to configure the exact same ip address etc on a separate interface. I was under the assumption that I could have two interfaces with the same ip ranges etc and treat them as two separate networks, however if I use the same IP address range on two interfaces it seems to confuse the two and all hell breaks loose. I need to use the same IP addresses.
Is there any way to do this? To have two interfaces with identical network addresses that are on separate interfaces and totally separate from each other. (last thing I want is two DHCP etc servers on the network)
