Astaro Cluster in VMware

I'm trying to test Astaro cluster in a VMware environment. However, once the cluster is up and running. I cannot ping the internal IP from some of the VM guests. Only the VM guests sitting on the same machine with current master node can ping internal IP, the VM guests on the other machine cannot. If I remove cluster, everything works fine. Is Astaro cluster a supported configuration in VMware?

    I'm a bit confused by this entire thread.  In Astaro clusters, all internal and external connections are available to all devices in the Astaro cluster.  It is not supported to have some devices connected to one device, but not others.  Please review the Astaro Cluster Guide available in the Astaro KnowledgeBase.

    as i remember this is a problem with the mac adresses.

    In cluster mode the astaro is using the same virtual mac adress for the interfaces on the active and on the passive node.

    If a server that is running on the same ESX(i) host like the passive astaro node is trying to send packets to the active node the vSwitch sends the packets to the passive node.
    Therefore the astaro is for this servers not reachable.

    This problem is solved with v8 as i said before...
