Astaro slowing esignal Datafeed

Hi Astaro users.  I have been having pauses on my datafeed coming from esignal.com for trading quotes.  This has been happening for a while.  Quotes and ticks come normal and all of a sudden pause and resume.  It's about a 1-2 second pause.  I am 100% sure this comes from Astaro gateway.  If I plug my PC directly to my FIOS modem and bypass my firewall quotes are perfectly smooth and never pauses.  

I had a dedicated box running my firewall before and this happened.  

I then moved it to a VMWARE server that is 2 processors and 4 cores per processor.  Plenty of memory.  The problem is still happening when I have trading PC behind astatro.  

I tried a different open source firewall and the problem did not happen.  

I have tried disabling IDS.  Does not help.  

Only 14 rules on firewall.

So I would like to know any other suggestions to troubleshoot this.

    Are you using http proxy? If you are, take that out of the equation by creating exceptions. Some users have experienced delays with content filtering. Any proxy by design will bring in a little lag.

    Its not the packetfilter rules, IPS maybe but not random like this. 

    The only thing I would recommend changing is the up2date frequency. If you are looking at something for 8 hrs and its time sensitive, the up2date process will reload daemons once in a while depending on the type of update applied. I would change the frequency to once or twice a day instead of every 15 minutes and see if it helps.

    This is home version.  Shouldn't matter.

    Do not have HTTP Proxy enabled. Ports used are 2190 2192 

    IDS I tried to disable.  Did not help.  

    I also changed up2date last week to 8 hours since I noticed it was loading every 15 min.  This did not help.

    Only thing that has helped is bypassing the gateway.  
    CPU Usage barely gets higher than 5%.

    Nonetheless, look in the Intrusion Prevention log to see if there's an issue with Anti-DoS/Flooding.
