What the heck is going on, udp port 137

Astaro v8.03, Tons of packages blocked from my Computer 192.168.0.2  to the internal Lan 192.168.0.255 via the UDP 137.  
Have 47186 packages blocked this day..
Have checked and scan the PC for virus, but nothing..
My Packet filter log: 
17:33:17  Default DROP  UDP  192.168.0.2:  137  → 192.168.0.255:  137

Anybody can tell me what is going on.. ?

    Port 137 is netbios. I don't understand what you mean by your computer to the internal LAN. Where is your computer in the setup.

    Sorry, it is of course inside my lan..
    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on this computer, and have not made any changes in settings after the last installation for 6 month ago.
    Only the normal updates from Microsoft.
    Neither to the ASG v8 unless for update of the firmware from 8.002 to 8.003 and of course the pattern..

    Have scan the computer with ClamAV, Ad-Aware and Spybolt, without any result of threats..

    The packet filter starts drop this packages at once i start this computer.
    None other computers running windows in the lan, only Linux.
    I have a feeling that this started after upgrade to v8.003

    NetBIOS over TCP/IP uses b-node broadcasts for name resolution and registration on your local LAN segment. What are the netbios config on the client side?

    There are four NetBIOS Nodes:

    B-Node - Broadcast ONLY
    P-Node - NBNS (Netbios Nameserver) or WINS ONLY
    M-Node- Mixed NBNS and Broadcast, but uses Broadcast FIRST.
    H-Node - Mixed NBNS and Broadcast, but uses WINS FIRST.

    I suppose my internal Astaro  address is 192.168.0.1, see attachment.

    Anyway,  i restored the old configuration from 8.002, and all returned back to normal agian.. 
    I also changed the Auto Update of Firmware to Manuell update.

    Seems to be working fine now.. !!

    Can someone comment on how this might have fixed daniell's problem?  And, whether it's normal for a PC to send NS requests to the broadcast address?

    Windows will broadcast if there's no AD controller, AND there's no Master Browser.

    Normally one windows PC will be 'elected' to Master Browser, but if there's only one PC on the network, I guess it might just keep broadcasting.

    I think modern versions of Astaro drop broadcasts, or have an option to do so; perhaps that option was changed by restoring the config.

    I think i will stick to the 8.002 version until a newer version abow 8.003 is relesed.
