My Astaro Free V8 hacked ? WTFRIGG

I have had Astaro the free version running for 4 days now, i Just went to log into it and look around and i can't even get into it any more, I know my password and my username. it just keeps rejecting it, did it get hacked ?

I was going to switch to this software and use it, but it is showing me that Untangle is better.

yes i did all the opdates, and used the home licence from my account.


Any one got ideas ?

    It's hard to say what you did, what issue you might have.  Install again from ISO, and try again - maybe asking some questions along the way.

    I see a Version 8.000 in the second Screenshot...

    That has the y2k38 Bug in it... (See here: Software error in old Astaro versions - update required)

    Because you did a fresh install from an "old" ISO it probably messed up all its Certificates... An later update to v8.001 won´t correct that...

    You need an v8.001 ISO to get around that.

    in the first screenshot, your key said 000000, which is the eval key. is it possible it expired? Were you getting an invalid password or a "your license has expired" rejection message initially?

    You said you couldnt get into the software right? So if you were able to get to the webadmin, and attempt a login, if it was rejecting your login did you try the loginuser or root account via ssh or the CLI?

    the first screen shot was just of the system installed, the others are with the upgrade ( via web ) 

    The licens is free when you log into MyAstaro, so i used it.

    I formatted the machine after downloading a new Iso version 8.001 installed and its running i'm actually behind it and it's working great.

    However i can't get email to go out but imap can come in, weird.
