Not Happy with Customization

The new blocked content page in v.8.001 is just plain AWFUL! Looks as if I went out and hired a 2 year old as a web designer. Could you please, please switch back to the old plain white one that accepts HTML code?! Or at least make that an option? All my intranet links for support are non-functional, and logo is poor due to the fact we can't even use transparent images as only .jpeg are allowed.

You know for the price of the hardware, plus the 1400 euro/year for "Support" we shouldn't have to look at anything with the word Astaro on it. I understand on the home licenses having your logo there to try and sell your product, but why on the enterprise solutions? Only tells the end user exactly WHICH firewall they are up against; thus, it creates a security threat on it's own! Please review your policies regarding this concern.

    how about black or white page w/ a small square astaro logo left top. the page won't fit sometimes in frames..looks like broken not blocked links.  just a thought.

    I disagree with the new Customization feature being disabled.  I have been using Astaro for many years now.  At the college that I teach A+ hardware/software classes and I promote the usage of Astaro for two reasons.  First, is to learn and experience a true IPS firewall, and second, for experience with using linux commands.  I do hope that this is removed in the next update as I will not promote this product to my students and direct them back to either IPCop or Smoothwall.

    I don't see how disabling customization of the logo, etc., interfere with using Astaro to teach firewalls or Linux.

    I have the paid version and I don't even care so much about that... but I cant stand ads. [:)]
