Subsonic Music Streamer

Anybody here who have Subsonic behind the Astaro Security Gateway v8. 
It's use port 4040 on a jetty java, on a dedicated CentOS server.
I'm not able to connect to it from outside. Have tried NAT and package filter, but with no success..

    Hi, no, you don't normally need a firewall (IPTables or windows firewall or whatever) on your internal machines.

    You can look at the PacketFilter and IPS logs on Astaro, they are equivalent to the IPTables/Kernel log on CentOS.
    Also, you can setup Astaro to email you the Executive Reports.

    Maybe for now, until you're more comfortable with Astaro, you should leave IPTables running, but just remember when you have another connectivity problem that you need to check it too.

    FYI, If you think you need to protect a machine from your other internal machines/guests, then maybe you should consider setting up a DMZ on Astaro.
