need fast advise please

hi all.
i'd like to know if i can accomplish the following and how:

* basically have people login via a hotspot system that way i know who is logged in. (it doesnt have to be hotspot.. i need a page that shows up with rules and so on)

also the ability  to speed limit people because my bandwidth is limited.

* most importantly track people's usage. its very vital i know what username/ip is visiting what website/doing what, because i need to setup a filter for my users to block specific websites and so on. i like astaros reports but how do i know what ip belongs to what ip when i have a 100 or so users on? besides astaro doesnt resolve host names and that makes things even harder.

can i accomplish this? if so what packages/how?

    I can some answer some of your questions.
    1/. you will need some form of AD to force users to logon.
    2/. integrate the AD into the ASG
    3/. Setup your own internal DNS linked into the the AD
    4/. setup AD profiles for each user group
    5/. setup profiles in the http proxy

    The above is theory on my part because I have not done this.

    Unless you used static IP addressing to each PC/user none of this will work.

    Will you be using standard or transparent http proxy?

    What about mail proxies?
