I think this is a bug thus seeking your confirmation.
I am using 8.001 but I am not sure if it exist in 8.000 as only today I needed to use it.
I needed to do a Traceroute From the Firewall itself using the Support - Tools.
Traceroute
To use this tool you need to enable 'Traceroute from Firewall' under Network Security >> Packet Filter >> ICMP
Problem is
1) Under the ICMP, under the Traceroute, there is NO Traceroute from Firewall check box.
2) I went ahead and check everything under the ICMP Page and it still does not work.
3) On the Paragraph beside Traceroute, it does mentioned 03 options but the button is just 02 options.
These settings define how the system handles traceroute packets. You can enable traceroute visibility, forwarding and traceroute from the firewall itself.
