Question's about license renewal

Hello all [:)]

I have 2 astaro's boxes in my job (university - active-passive).


It's an ASG 500IP option with web subscription acquired in september, 2009.
This is the partner's numbers:
 
AS75001HA    Software    ASG V7 HA Option, 500 IP,  lic. model    
AS75001SW    Subscription    ASG V7 Web Subs., 500 IP,1y    
AS75001GM    Maintenance    ASG V7 Gold Maint.,500 IP,1y   


The problems is the websubscription expiring next month and my partner reseler in Brazil send these options:

ASSN0000B    ASG Software Essential Firewall, User limit determined by first active subscription
ASVN05001WSR    ASG Virtual Web Security, 500 Users, 1 Year Subscription - Renewal


It's really necessary a "Essential firewall" license?" My base license dont expire's and i feel little problem's with this, because the essential firewall is free and dont have "IPS", for example.
I think only web subscription is necessary, but the salesperson at the reseler say's me "not". heh...

What do i do?

    Bob,
    I hope my reseller is trying to force a situation on my license renewal.
    She send me two options of renewal, for 1 year and 3 year.
    For 1 year option (migrating to the new model of license), she's said my network security option is wont going to be enabled, only on 3 years renewal.
    If this is true, i have problems to renew because the approved condition to renew from my coordinator is 1 year. [:(]

    Eiras, you may want to just contact Astaro directly if you think it's necessary; without seeing the quotes in question, etc. it's difficult for me to make any conclusions on this.  
    Bob is correct that you should automatically get 1 year of Network Security "free" with the licensing change.  It sounds like your reseller is simply only sending you a renewal quote for the Web Security subscription for 1 year.

    That would be what I would do, as you automatically get the 1 year of Network Security with the licensing model change this time around.  A year from now, when renewal time comes again, you will be renewing Web Security AND Network Security for a year.
