Platform preferences for Virtual ASG servers

Hi all,

I am interested in hearing about your experiences with different virtualized platforms where you are running one or more ASG servers.    Is there a consensus on which is the best platform?  For example, is ESXi or VirtualBox better, and why?

I am thinking of deploying a beefy ESXi server to run multiple virtual ASGs that will each connect to multiple RED boxes.  I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences.  Thanks!

    I run an semi-productive testcluster 8.001 with 3 nodes on ESX 4.1 on our main VMware environment (3 x HP DL380 G6, HP EVA4400, ESX 4.1, vSphere Enterprise) and it's running very well.

    I did not use the VM provided by Astaro, but I installed 8.000 manually from the ISO-image.

    Thanks for your help. But, I resolved my issue so easy. I take a Windows 7 VM on my inventory and changed the IP configuration as the PDF mention. 

    CLAP!!! ASG8 webadmin was available by VM only.

    Then, I thought "what happen if I install the ASG in a dedicated computer?". How to resolve this issue? Well I followed your instructions on other scenario and they work for me. So, thanks again.
