Platform preferences for Virtual ASG servers

Hi all,

I am interested in hearing about your experiences with different virtualized platforms where you are running one or more ASG servers.    Is there a consensus on which is the best platform?  For example, is ESXi or VirtualBox better, and why?

I am thinking of deploying a beefy ESXi server to run multiple virtual ASGs that will each connect to multiple RED boxes.  I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences.  Thanks!

    The only reason to run vmware image right now is if you want to put the vmware image in a vmware managed cluster so if one physical host dies it simply gets moved isntantly to another with no downtime...OR if you have a big enough box and have enough resources to run more than one server on the same box..[:)]
