I've got a smaller QA environment where I run Astaros own VMAppliance-image (was v7.4xx when I starting using it, now it's 7.506). The license is just a small 25IP network security one, but the new lic-model gives us free hot-standby HA. Since our main environment uses a HA hot-standby I want to make my QA envirnoment the same.
Can I just clone the VM-astaro I've got, (cold-clone), isolate it to de-configure the interfaces and then take it out of isolation and use the auto-ha feature to configure hot-standby HA?
Or should I get a new VMAppliance-image from Astaro and boot it up from scratch with the same VM-Hardware config and then try auto-ha feature?
