how secure is simple AV scan?

I´m right now using double av scan, but internet browsing is not lovely at all.

maybe an AV double paranoid problem?

how secure is normal av scanning?

Hi,
you haven't defined your hardware.

Also DNS is not necessarily the issue, it is the round trip time to to reference server/s, that is what you need to check the log for.

Please post your hardware config and the entry from the log covering the reference server times.
