Upgrading to v8: lose quarantined email?

The Release Notes mention that all "log files and reports" will be lost as part of the V7.5 - to - v8.0 upgrade process, but they make no mention of quarantined email.

Am I correct in assuming that they'll be wiped, too?  If so, is there any way to preserve them or do I just tell my family that they won't be able to release any old false positives after tonight? [:)]

    Currently, there is no true "upgrade" to V8. It is a format and reinstall from ISO, so all data will be lost.
     
    Since your only dealing with a few people in a household, it would probably be easiest to make everyone go through their quarentines to clear them out just prior to your reinstall.
     
    Two other things you'll want to do prior to your "upgrade".
     
    1)  Make a config backup and save it off to your computer.  You'll need to upload this after you install V8, unless you want to manually re-create your config.
     
    2)  Go to my.astaro.com, update your license to the new style, if it hasn't been already, and download it to your PC.  You'll need to upload this as well after install if your V7 install is still using the old style license.
