Internet Connection Problem

Hi to all

Sorry i Dont speak very good English.

I have install the Internet Security Gateway on my Proliant with 1 GB Ram and 2.4 GHZ CPU. The Connections are all ok. But if want go to a Site, the first two times comes Server not found. Then i Refresh two or three Times the Site Load very fast. The Site functioned problem-free. If want go to a other Site the same problem. The server is not overloaded. Only 20%!! 

Whats the Problem? I Install everything three times, allway the same problem.

    I especially like your question about DNS, Ian.  It does sound like he might not have DNS configured, so the HTTP Proxy is having to query the Root Name Servers.

    Marcel, please go to the 'Web Security >> HTTP/S' 'Global' tab and open the HTTP Access live log, then try a new access.  Please show us the lines from that log related to the site you're trying to access.

    please they excuse me, that I write only now.

    The configuration is only the standart at the install. I use the Network card and the Wan Card. No other options!

    The external interface is a Normaly Lan Modem with one Lan Port. I use the "Standart Network" options.

    The Log can i post only at Monday.

    Now i can Post the Log:

    [ 0x8095570] dns_expire (dns.c:1020) dns query timed out, retransmitting (retry 2)

    or 

    (retry 1).

    I select those Ips:

    Wan: ***.***.1.28
    Network: ***.***.1.27
    Modem: ***.***.1.2
    On my PC Standart Gateway: ***.***.1.27 and DNS: ***.***.1.27

    Thats Right?

    Hi Marcel ,
    I can see your problem straight away. You need different IP address ranges for your outside connection.

    WAN interface 192.168.199.1 modem 192.168.199.2
    You will need to add the modem as your DNS on the ASG unless your ISP gave you some addresses.
    internal interface 192.168.1.27, PC 192.168.1.100
    internal network 192.168.1.0/24
    (You could enable DHCP and let that provide all the information for your PC)

    MASQ internal network -> external interface
    Packet filter rule internal network -> any port -> any destination -> allow

    I have the next Problem. I will Configure UTorrent over the ASG. Without ASG i have NAT on the Modem to the Server 192.168.252 and thats it. Now i dont have a Connection in Utorrent over ASG. The Internet Function!! 

    What must i Configure on the ASG?? Or Modem?? (NAT to the ASG or Server)
