-Restricted customization capabilities for Home-User Licensed Installations

Just want to double check as I did a installation from scratch thus I am not able to see how it behaves.

1) Does the above means whatever you configured prior to 7.505 would Remain and no further changes is possible.

OR

2) Regardless of what you configured prior to 7.505, in 7.505, Customization would be Completely Disabled and the Astaro Default Settings would be enforced.

    The customization options that are limited in the latest version should wipe out earlier customization.

    In my case the minor changes that I had made were undone and replaced with the standard text.  However, I seem to recall someone else posting that their text changes were still in place and they had only lost their custom logo.

    My Tux logo is still there after my upgrade to 7.505. Not sure about the only other thing I changed.  My log in to the proxy page just had "Don't abuse the system." for text.  Those were my only changes. I will have to watch to see if that text is still there. And Tux survived at least one reboot after the upgrade.

    Now I regret upgrading to 7.505 immediately after a reinstall of 7.504.

    Actually what is the reason to remove our ability to add nice pictures to it and edit the text accordingly to that our home users can read the test in a easier manner which is also a good way for us to know what users need to understand those blocked messages etc.

    In any case, even with our own penguins picture which is real cool, Astaro logo is still there.

    Hi,

    I installed the virtual ASG with the free license and was able to modify logo and text. Yesterday I figured out I had a typo in one of that message texts and wanted to change that - I'm not able to choose or change anything now ... I guess Astaro "updated" that behaviour lately.
