hi,
I have a client running on asg425 with around 1000 users.
the work of asg425 is running on web browsing only.
they have dhcp server w/c binds this particular address to corresponding mac address.Not all 1000 users are now allowed to have internet connection,instead
others is for LAN connection only.
The problem is that, it seems other users are cleaver enough,they changed their ip address to the network range allowed to have internet connection.
how do i stop this kind of users preventing not allowed users not to access internet connection.
Instead of blocking ip address to the astaro,Im going to use mac address.
Is it possible in astaro?if not any recommendation?

    Astaro doesn't work with mac addresses
    there is a feature request for this you can vote for it in Feature request site
    But you Can use another way to authenticate users there is basic authentication, Active Directory SSO, eDirectory,
