Security compared to other offerings

We're in a process where we are testing and looking at Astaro. How secure and stable are the firewall product compared with offerings from Cisco, Dlink and other commercial products?

    Price vs. Performance, your much better off with Astaro, but at the same time, your trying to compare apples and oranges.
     
    DLink: In no way shape or form can this be considered a viable option for business usage.  Home use garbage firewall only.
     
    Cisco ASA: Baseline it's just a firewall and VPN Gateway. With additional licensing you can add a botnet filter. With additional hardware and licensing (only 5510 or larger models), you can add Anti-Virus, with 3rd party software (Websense), you can add web filtering.
     
    Astaro: Firewall, Spam filtering, Web filtering, VPN, etc.
     
    Is this for a business or for home usage? How many endpoints?
