Maybe I missed something!!!

I recently came across Astaro Security Gateway and found the product interesting..., but I am at a complete loss as to what I need to do after I install the software...

Apparently I need an initial user name and password at the login screen! (my install doesn't bring me to any desktop environment; just to a DOS-like login request.)

If anyone out there wouldn't mind assisting me I would be greatly appreciative, Thank you [:D]

Hi,

you have to connect to the ASG Webadmin via a web browser at the IP you gave it during installation, over HTTPs Port 4444.

You have to enter the address like https://***.***.***.***:4444 where *** is the IP.

You do not need and will not be able to log in to the console before you configure console access in Webadmin.
