Maybe I am late to the discussion and I didn't see any press releases but was noticing that Astaro AG is now Astaro GmbH & Co. KG . Anybody knows whats going on[:)]
Yes seems like they have changed their legal form. I would assume they did so for fiscal reasons (German fiscal law is the most complex / craziest in the world [;)] )
sorry for the confusion: its just a small legal change in our organizational structure. It has nothing todo with tax things, but allows us to grow more structured in the future and makes international operations more easily.
Now there is the new Astaro Software AG and beneath the new Astaro GmbH & Co. KG formerly known as Astaro AG.
That's all, nothing else was changed or will be changed: we are the same and do the same.
Another question, how do you guys actually pronounce astaro in germany. I have heard most people pronounce it as es-tero. Is this the right way of saying it? I know certain things are pronounced totally different depending on where you are at in the world. eg. SUSE.
