Who is using the astaro.org forums?

Hello,

Every time I visit astaro.org I am amazed how active and constructive the astaro.org community is. We would love to better understand who is active here. Thanks for your help.

I'm new to Astaro. Just joined the Forum today :-) although I had heard of Astaro through Leo Laporte's show. He made it sound like the best thing since sliced bread but I'm sure if Cisco was a sponsor of his show then the best thing since sliced bread would be the ASA appliances. I'm basically trying learn more about these devices while I learn more about network security :-) I'm going to be using an ASG220

I think you will find Astaro actually is the best thing since sliced bread. [:)] I have been using it at home for many, many years now, and only turn my ASA and Netscreen's on when I need to do a security lab for a client.

I'm here since early 2008. I think I found Astaro when it was recommended in another internet forum (Windows Server & IT Pro Community - MCSEboard.de MCSE Forum).

So I started being a home-user with 7.1 (or 7.2?) and was active in all the beta tests since then [;)]

There is definitely no better free UTM solution available for use at home.
