pfsense as bridge for asg to go through

is it possible to setup pfsense as a bridge maybe between the internet modem and the asg box so i can use pfsense for its traffic shaping power?

if so how would asg be setup? can it remain a router? can pfsense get an autoip from asg and still have pfsense shape traffic then pass it it out to the net?

its a weird question but i am sure someone has asked a similar one.

    Actually Pfsense has _THE_ Best traffic shaping for a free firewall solution. Do some more research on it and you'll see.

    The stuff i was talking about are in whats called the pfsense package system. I installed a ton of good stuff like Squid, ntop, and so on. all of these made a HUGE difference. i have the ability to have squid obey caching rules that during my testing were a Godsend for my crappy vsat connection.

    I will probably keep ASG because it has a great ... um...url filter and blacklist? thats about  all i can think about for now.
