Question regarding Misc Settings

I am trying to understand where these ports are used on "Allowed target services". What happens if I remove these ports? (Pic attached)

The HTTP Proxy will not allow access on ports that are not in this list.

If that's the case then why do we need ftp port defined in that list( by default). I thought that for ftp traffic the ftp proxy is used and not http proxy
