Have been experiencing an interesting problem lately with clients and DNS resolution. When switching on a client first thing, it won't resolve DNS but can ping the DC via IP. DNS will only work once you've initiated an RDP session with the DC and have the login screen or pinged it for more than 30secs. All works fine after this and DNS works ok
Running AD 2K3 in mixed mode.
Anybody seen this before?[:S]
