General Firewall Question

I'm fairly new at firewalls. I'm trying to understand the rules and information in our Astaro firewall. Specifically, I see the following two: (My comments are in '#')




Under NAT:  
  GXB_PRIVATE (Network)   Public 
 
Private to Public 

# On the public interface you can reach the private newtwork of 192.168.9.***? Why would we want this?


Under DNAT/SNAT:

1 DNAT [HTTPS Redirect] 
 
Traffic selector:  Any →  HTTPS →  Public (Address) 
 
Destination translation:  Public (Address)  Astaro WebAdmin 
 
# Any requests on the public interface for HTTPS get redirected to the Astaro WebAdmin?

    Your first question seems to be about a masquerading rule, and that seems normal.

    Your DNAT seems to be incorrect and unnecessary; in any case, "Destination translation: Public (Address) Astaro WebAdmin" doesn't make sense to me.

    In the future, please consider using screen captures to show your situation.  When editing, press the [Go Advanced] button so that you can click on the paper clip icon and add attachments.
