all users OR concurrent users

Hi all,

i got confused which model i should use in my network it all depends on the number of users i have 400 users and concurrent users = 30 at worst case.

so when Astaro pdf speaks about users they mean all or concurrent?

please help

    Hi,
    they speak of IP addresses that will use the ASG for anything.
    Is the ASG going to be your DHCP server, then you will need a 400 user licence.
    If only 10 IP addresses use the firewall then a 10 licence will be sufficient.

    You would have to ensure that the non internet access IP addresses don't have the ASG as their gateway, time reference, DNS etc.

    Because the addresses age over a week I suspect you will need a 500 IP licence to allow for things like servers.
