SaaS based Management Log Retention

Curious to know whether there would be interest by the customer community for an independent trusted 3rd party that would offer a management log retention service as part of Astaro's service offering.  

We've seen some challenges in either the customer maintaining this function (overhead, single pt of failure, authenticity, etc) and/or vendor (Astaro) responsibility (same issues: (overhead, single pt of failure, authenticity, etc...)

Additionally, the value that a separate trusted 3rd party core focus would be to permanently protect such information that may be needed for future audits, or compliancy reviews.  

Do others see this in similar fashion?  Thank you!

    This seemed like an interesting issue to address here, but I was concerned that it was an attempt to advertise.  In an email, I challenged Mr. Chung about this post.

    His response included the comment, "I was actually told by Astaro to post this question through the User BB. Apparently, like other management product companies, this is a question that is coming up. [...] This was just a marketing ping for Astaro's benefit and request."

    On that basis, I didn't remove his post. This does relate directly to the second-most-popular feature request.
