Astaro on Vbox

Hello,

I'd like to use Astaro in 7.402 in Vbox 2.2.2. Shortly after the language  selection during installation the installation fails with the comment:
"Please eject Cd and restart".
An older Version 73 based on VBox 208 seems to work very smooth (even without the guest tools)

Any ideas?

    Hi Klaus,

    That blue splash screen won't be useful in troubleshooting. However try hitting alt+f2, & alt+f3 when the install fails, perhaps there you can see what the reason is (if a package is corrupt, something is missing, no drivers for something etc...)

    do you run vbox in windows, mac or linux enviroment?

    Hello,

    I'm running it based on WinXP 32 Bit and the same on Sol10.
    Pressing ALT+F2 shows me the bash. ALT+F3 gives me
    ~~~
    Stroage Controller: Intel 82371AB/EB/MB PIIx4 IDE
    Total 1 storage controllers found
    Searching for disks
     Disk: VBOX HARDDISK (/dev/hda) not used: disk too small
    Total 2 disks found
    PHASE END: hw_conf

     umont: /dest//sys No such file or directory
     umont: /dest//pro No such file or directory
     umont: /dest//boot No such file or directory
     umont: /dest//var/storage No such file or directory
    ...
     umont: /dest// Invalid Argumnet
    ~~~

    The disk is created as 'fixed size' with 10 GB.

    I've solved this issue by changing the controller to 'use additional controller' (+SCSI Buslogic).
