Astaro Home/Free version User# limitation?

Hello,

I am currently looking for a kick-ass gateway security solution for my Home network.

I am currently looking at Astaro Home edition && Endian Firewall.

I have seen that Astaro has a 10 user limitation.

But what does that really mean? Does that mean that if I am using more then 10 IP device inside my home network, some wont be protected, or wont connect to the internet?

I want to support:

3 Desktop
1 MediaCenter
1 Network Printer
1-5 Wireless DHCP client such as my iPhone
1 NAS (Fileserver)
1 Playstation 3

Which mean I need about 12 IP ip address.

    It's a 10-IP limit, through the firewall. After 10 IPs are seen (or 11 as there's a little 'slack'), new IPs won't be allowed to connect to the internet.

    If you give your printer and NAS static IPs and no gateway, you should be fine.

    Also, when Astaro has a beta program, they often offer 25-IP licenses to all beta testers.
