Network Definition

Hi All
I have had a brain freeze so all help here would be good.
I was trying to setup at Network Definition of 112.141.0.0/255.0.0.0. (Yes I know not all that secure (different topic please).
But the Network Definition page would not let me it would keep flashing red on the 112.141.0.0.
The Address and Subnet are valid so what am I doing wrong.

    I'm trying to add a "Super Net (ie not subnet)" of 112.141.0.0/255.0.0.0.
    So that this will include all the Networks within this Network range
    Subnet Mask Inverse Mask Subnet Size Host Range Broadcast
    112.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 0.255.255.255 16777214
    112.0.0.1  to  112.255.255.254 112.255.255.255

    I wanted to do this for some quick testing For some Dynamic IAX clients with a little bit of security in stead of opening to world. (yes, please no response to large range and security. I had screaming migraine and wanted a quick test.).

    This Definition would be applied as a filter to the DNAT Rule for IAX.

    So dilandau the 112.141.0.0/255.255.0.0 was to small a range to be covered and I thought 112.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 to big a range.

    I'm a little confused, do you want the definition to include the ip range 112.0.0.1 - 112.255.255.254? 

    if that is the case then the correct network definition would be 112.0.0.0/8 or do you want to create something along the lines of 112.128.0.0 /9. Well, either way it would probably be quicker to punch it into a subnet calculator, all i can do is verify that 112.141.0.0 /8 is not a correct network and subnet mask combination, so the error you see when you try to create the definition on the astaro is correct.
