220 Version 3 Hardware

Looking at the option of upgrading my 220 V 1 to V3 hardware. I know the V 1 I have is a Intel PIII 1.2 GHZ with 512mb ram. What hardware is in the 220 V3?

220 v3 is a Pentium IV 2.4GHz, with 1GB RAM.

I upgraded mine and it was well worth it! I haven't hit my swap partition since the upgrade!

One of the key reasons for the improved performance is that the newer systems is not just twice the RAM, it is DDR2 instead of PC133. 1Gb of DDR2 is big boost from 512Mb of PC133.
