There is a Web site that I am trying to download .exe files from. When I click on the download button next to the file I want to download, nothing really happens. The status bar in Internet Explorer 7 fills up and then refreshes the currently page. If I bypass my proxy, I can successfully download the files. When I can successfully downlaod the file by bypassing the proxy, I am prompted if I want to Save or Open the file. I never get that option going through Astaro. I can download .exe files from other Web sites without any issues. I created an exception in Astaro for the domain and sub-domain of the Web site to exclude anti-virus scanning and extension blocking but that didn't work. I opened up Astaro so that all ports would except traffic in case the download used a different port than your typical ones. That didn't work. I tried clearing the proxy cache on Astaro, that didn't work. I verified Asatro isn't setup to block the file extension .exe which it isn't. I call the Helpdesk of the Web site I'm trying to download the files from, and they said that this has happened before and that other users created exclusions to not block any ports when downloading from them. I've tried that and it doesn't work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I've tried using Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and Google Chrome as well and that doesn't make a difference.
