Hi friends!

Yet another basic query  ,

If user login and remain login (doesn't logout ever) mean time i create some policy for that user (Qos,vpn,application,etc) in this  situation what will happen ?
(ex: he is consuming 50 % of bandwidth and i want to bar that user/or want to put Qos rule for that user (can u put Qos user for one particular user ?)) to use internet/broadband

    During the authentication we store the users IP address in the user object. 

    If you use this user object AND the user has still the same ip address, than automatically all changes like Bandwidth gets assigned to all connections for this ip address.

     but i dont use user object ,the user is from regular dhcp still i want to control  user/use user  policy for that ip/user (after understating his behavior ) 

    Or is there any way to block all traffic to/from  that user (still is login /not logout )

    PS ==before jumping from  parachute (FIRST TIME ) i want to understand all possibility  and all possible things till successful landing ----DOING 1st ASTARO FULLY LOADING 220 INTALLATION IN EXACT NEXT 10 DAYS

    Now, there isn't enough time to learn and understand everything about the Astaro, and it's not necessary.

    In this case, I think you're creating an inaccurate scenario. QoS may or may not be the right solution.  It might be blocking a category or a specific domain.

    You're better off to start working on the customer's configuration.  Get the information I suggested to start with and post the details.
