[Feature Request] Paravirtualisationsupport for ASG

I would like paravirtualisation-support for ASG V7.
I'm running an XenServer 5 but I'm having trouble with Timeouts of IM-Clients during send of data.
No pings are awailable sometimes.

It seems as if the ASG is sometimes not reachable.
I guess it's a problem with this missing support

    I think this is already enabled in the Version 7 kernel...

    ASG uses a 2.6.16 kernel, which is quite old and has no paravirtualization support.
    paravirt didn't even exist then, and I couldn't find any xen integration either.

    It would be nice though, because especially the clock is strange in hvm mode and it's not very fast.

    we can expect lot of vitualization things upcoming version of astaro as novell is closely working with vmware ,(i expect once sles 11 release we can expect that very soon )

    FWIW, afaik paravirtualization is not available in VMWare.

    I don't know how much Suse supports Xen; I do know that RedHat is pushing Xen strongly.

    I don't see the point about suse in this thread.

    It's a question of 7 or 8 kernel options and that's it.

    Astaro's kernel is based on SLES.

    Redhat is pushing KVM which comes with kernel 2.6.20 ,with Redhat vesion 5.4 KVM is default not xen , 

    Red Hat has bought Qumranet, the company behind KVM virtualisation technology

    if i am not wrong  praravirtulzation is type of virtualzation 
     Suse support xen with sles 10 

    Paravirtualization Vs Virtualization

    but latest news is that novell and vmware working very closely for sles 11

    please correct me if i am wrong

    I wondered, if the kernel is somehow manipulated by Astaro.

    If it is just the standard-kernel of an SLES, wouldn't it be possible to exchange the kernel to enable the support for xen?
