Problems performing upgrade to 7.4 from 7306

Morning,
I seem to have a couple of problems with my faithful 7.306 installation and wondered if anyone could help me.

My 1st problem (or issue) is that my dashboard tells me:
Firmware version: 7.306
1 Update(s) available for download
Pattern version: 9230
Last check: 18 minutes ago

However when I go in to Up2date I get :

Current firmware version: 7.306
Your firmware is up to date

Available firmware updates overview
No updates available for installation

Pattern 

Current pattern version: 9230
Latest available pattern version: 9245

The daily report doesnt detail any outstanding updates either...?


My second problem is that I've downloaded the 7306-7400 update from ftp://ftp.astaro.de/pub/ASG/v7/up2date/ (which took *ages* as it was only being downloaded at ~9k/sec .. I guess It's popular!  .. the mirrors didnt have this file either..) and manually uploaded it to my ASG through up2date->advanced.  This takes a while and never actually seems to complete despite being left for 30 mins or so.  I'm not on a slow network.  When I close the window askiing me to wait 30 secs or abort the task (after leaving it for 1/2 an hour) there's nothing for me to apply in up2date again.

So it seems that I cannot manually upload the update and my ASG wont install it automatically.  

Has anyone else seen this or am I being daft?

    That means, there is something available, but still not downloaded.

    Then ist would show "1 update ready for installation"

    The download servers are completely overloaded as several thousend boxes try to download 250 MB. You can see in the download log "error 500".

    I'm still waiting on most of my boxes to get the file.

    Be patient. It will load the next days.

    I am facing the exact same problem FreudianSlip but I am on version 7.304
    Hopefully the issue will be resolved in the next couple of days [:)]

    Wingman, as Freudian knows, up until last year, Up2Dates were downloaded almost as soon as they were available.  Last year was the first time there was an Up2Date larger than 100MB, and the present one is, as Walter said, 250MB.  Add that to the growth in Astaro's customer base, and you have the situation today.  I'm sure Astaro will be looking for a new distribution method.  In the meantime, just be patient; there's a good chance Freudian's Astaro would have downloaded the Up2Date itself within minutes of his download.
