Locked out of GUI

I am running 7.4 on a small form factor mAtx machine. I was in the admin gui and changed something (dont recall exactly) related to security/firewall/packet filtering and so now I am unable to access the gui at 4444? I know, I know, dont fiddle with things you are not sure of. Is there a simple way to regain access to the GUI?

Unfortunately no, cant even ping any of the interfaces.

If you have an unencrypted backup, put it on a USB memory stick/thumbdrive and plug it into the firewall and reboot.
During boot, it will re-load the backup config.

I am pretty sure I didnt set the backups to be encrypted, but this system does not have a working USB port. Is it possible to restore a backup (where are they) from the console? (commands?).

login as root...
backup.plx -l
will list available backups, and

cd /var/confd/var/storage/snapshots
backup.plx -i
will restore

If the backup is encrypted, you can apparently run backup.plx -d to decrypt.
