Default drop

can some one please tell me when log says Default drop while setup a new THINGS (vpn,limewire,ssh from outsite ) where do i see possible problem /what should i fix

    What traffic was dropped that you want to go through?  Was this inbound traffic from the Internet, or something that should go out?

    Read about "Stateful Firewalls" to understand that you don't normally need to open ports for inbound traffic from the Internet unless you have servers that you want to offer on the Internet.

     Sorry ,i try to setup a vpn ,i tryed to setup a limewire ,i tryed to setup a ssh and ftp from out  side i got this errors ,i was able to setup a connection with vpn but unable to browse (while browsing i got error)

    i am having static ip (121.2.x.x) which is configure with astaro in bridge mode my adsl router has (192.168.1.1) then why its sending packet to entire network,sorry Bob this is all the way different issues

    If you go to 'Definitions >> Services', you can put 137 into the 'Find' box and it will tell you that this is "NETBIOS-NS."  Depending on what you're doing, you probably can use a packet filter rule like: 'Internal (Network) -> NETBIOS-NS : Any : Allow'.

    Also, if you have an internal Windows domain server, you need a rule like 'Internal (Network) -> Windows Networking (NETBIOS) : Server : Allow'.
