Hi,
I got a system generated email from my firewall today that it rebooted! All by itself - yipes!
I looked in various log files, and they are all clear from midnight until the reboot, any information logged since midnight has been lost (not a big deal, but kind of makes figuring out what happened….impossible?). Only information from post reboot is there from today. So I'm just trying to figure out where to look for more evidence as to what may have caused the reboot. I wondered if maybe an up2date pattern update was downloaded and installed. Any is there a list of pattern releases and their release dates/times? Looks like it went down for about an hour and 15 minutes judging by the big blank in my graphs, which seems unusually long for something like that, so I suspect it was something else…
Also, now that it's back up, one of my interfaces show as State = UP, Link = DOWN from the dashboard in webadmin, but from Network Interfaces, they are all up and green. Heh? I don't want to disable and re-enable it because I have to also unplug the cable and plug it back into a DIFFERENT interface (pain in the butt!). I think this may be because I am trying to configure two NICs as different uplinks (one for WAN, one for DMZ-WAN). But anyway…
Anyone? Thoughts? Comments?
