Mail encryption

Hi,

i´m using mail encryption in my asg 220 cluster. It works fine within 7.202 but since updating to 7.304, there are problems with it.
I´m now getting mails, where the mail itself is decrypted and readable, while the attached files (i.e. the file extentions) were renamed to ".asc" and opening the files shows up the pgp encryption lines.
Both, sender and receipient are correctly setted up on the astaro.

In the logs, i can´t find an error.

any ideas.

    Yes, thats true. Renaming leaves the attachments unchanged in encrypted format.
    If i open the file for instance in notepad, i got following header

    -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----
    Version: SECUDE Office Security Suite 4.0.2.26
    Comment: SECUDE Office Security Suite - SECUDE IT Security - Homepage

    and then the encrypted characters.

    Sender is using outlook, exchange and "Secude" as encryption software.
    From Juli 2008 till update 7.304 it has been worked in this combination.

    hi,

    it seems to work, if the sender is using PGP-Mime and/or encrypts the whole mail and not only the attachments with his solution.
