This is the second time this has happened to me.
We are running the software appliance on a dual P4 Xeon, I believe 3 ghz, w/4 gb RAM and 3 Intel NICs. We are using it for mail and web filtering. The first time this happened was about 2 weeks ago, running 7.302, and after getting it back up and running I upgraded to 7.303. This morning about 5:30 am I recieved a spam email, then nothing. I recieve my cell phone voicemail in my email, so I knew there was a problem when I missed a couple of calls and there was no message in my inbox. Trying to connect from home, I tried to connect to the Webadmin from the external interface, and the page timed out. I then VPN'd to the office and tried the internal interface, same result. Pinging both IP's gives me the same result, timeouts.
I realize I will have to go and physically reboot the box, but does anyone have any idea what would cause this? Other than this issue, the unit has been running fine, low swap usage, about 27% RAM usage, and usually
